Okay so my car's been giving me that dreaded slow crank for the past week and I know it's only a matter of time before I'm stuck calling for a jump start. I've pretty much decided on Bosch because I've used them before in my previous car and they held up really well, plus I like that they have a solid warranty compared to some of the no-name brands floating around. The thing I'm debating now is whether to take it to a traditional garage or use one of those mobile fitting services that come to you, since I'm based in Al Barsha and there's plenty of both options around here. I've heard some horror stories about mobile guys not properly securing the battery or messing up the computer system in newer cars, so I'm a bit nervous about just letting anyone pop the hood. What I really want is to find someone who offers Certified Bosch car battery fitting near Al Barsha so I can have peace of mind that the job is done right, especially since my car has all those sensitive electronics that could get fried if someone doesn't know what they're doing. Has anyone here used a mobile service that actually sends certified technicians, or would I be better off just driving to a proper workshop and waiting it out? I don't mind paying a bit extra if it means the installation is done properly and I don't end up with electrical issues down the road.
